Zidane backs Benzema to win Ballon d’Or 2022
Zinedine Zidane, former Real Madrid manager, has named Karim Benzema as the player that deserves to win the Ballon d’Or in 2022.

Zidane believes Benzema deserves to win the Ballon d’Or after guiding Real Madrid to win the Champions League this year.
The former midfield maestro insisted that the whole world wants the France international to win the prestigious individual award.
Zidane coached Benzema, who finished as the 2021/22 Champions League top scorer with 15 goals, during his time at Real Madrid.

“I’m not the only one saying give Benzema the Ballon D’or, the whole world is,” Zidane told French publication L’Equipe.
“He more than deserves it.”
Benzema has established himself as a true legend at Real Madrid over the years.
He joined the Spanish LaLiga champions back in 2009 from his boyhood club Olympique Lyonnais and has never looked back.
