We Are Loyal To President Buhari – Nigerian Air Force
Air Staff Chief of Nigeria, Air Marshal Abubakar Sadique, has said that the Air Force is loyal to President Muhammadu Buhari.
He was speaking at Eid-el-Fitr Luncheon organized in Yola on Monday with troops in the North East.
Air Commodore Muhammed Yusuf, Commander 153 Base Services Group, Yola, was represented at the CAS.
It’s unclear why the Air Chief reassures NAF allegiance to President Buhari.
But Sadique said that was because of “his continued support for the Nigerian Air Forces.”
He said the lunch observed “is a tradition that the Nigeria Air Force is organizing during the festivity to facilitate front air personnel in the North East region.
“And the Air Force of Nigeria is committed to ensuring that our country is safe and that people can go to normal activities.”
He added that the NAF base in Yola will continue to play a vital role in the Northeastern war against insurgency.
Sadique further told the citizens of Adamawa, in particular, and the region as a whole, that the Air Force would do its utmost to protect them from feared insurgents and other crimes.
