Seyi Makinde Announces Discharge Of 9 COVID-19 Patients
Seyi Makinde, Oyo State Governor, has confirmed the discharge of 9 COVID-19 patients from the state’s isolation center after their second negative test results were obtained.
Makinde made the announcement on Saturday in a tweet from his Twitter account, while reporting that the state had reported 30 new viral infection cases.
The tweet reads: “Oyo State Task Force Update COVID-19, May 23, 2020.
“Nine confirmed COVID-19 patients obtained the results of their second NEGATIVE test and were discharged.
“This brings the number of cases in Oyo State which have been discharged to 58.
“The COVID-19 validation tests returned POSITIVE for thirty suspicious cases, too.
“27 cases come from iSON Xperiences and one from Ibadan SW, Ibadan SE and Oluyole Local Govt Areas each.
“So in Oyo State the total number of confirmed cases as at 5.30 PM today is 233.
