Security Officer Stabs Young Man To Death For Not Using Face Mask

A 22-year-old man has been allegedly stabbed to loss of life by a personal security guard connected to Coca-Cola market, Onitsha, Anambra State.

It was once gathered that the deceased, one Cletus Chisom, had an altercation with the security guard, Ibuchi Nwoju, over face masks observance earlier than the guard stabbed him in his chest leading to his immediate death.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Haruna Mohammed, stated that the safety guard had been arrested whilst the body was deposited at Toronto Hospital Mortuary for autopsy.

He said: “At around 8:45 a.m. today, at 4/5/2020, police officers from the Onitsha Okpoko Division arrested a private security guard attached to COCA-COLA Market Onitsha, an Ibuchi Nwoju ‘m’ aged 26 from Asa village, but residing in Onitsha, Anambra State.”

Commissioner of Police CP John B.Abang, has ordered for immediate transfer of the case to State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Awka for discreet investigation.
