Raymond Dokpesi Recovers From COVID-19
High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, founder of DAAR Communications, owners of AIT and Raypower, has announced his recovery from coronavirus.
Afterwards Dokpesi was released from the COVID-19 care center in Gwagwalada, FCT-Abuja.
In a statement he personally signed, the AIT founder thanked the numerous Nigerians who have shown concern for him and his family, including the Federation ‘s Secretary of Government, Boss Mustapha, Health Minister, Osagie Ehanire, Governor Nyesom Wike, former President, Goodluck Jonathan, and former Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida, among others.
In the address, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi expressed his belief that Nigeria’s battle against COVID-19 could become the catalyst for much-needed health sector reform with well-thought-out policies coupled with targeted and highly planned investments in the health system.
According to him; “The past weeks have given us a first-hand experience of the huge challenge facing us as a country. We know better the personal sacrifices that many Nigerians are making to ensure that we collectively fight this pandemic. This cuts through policy makers, care professionals and even cleaners whose job puts them at constant risk of publicity.
“Through our isolation at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada Isolation Centre, I am extremely indebted to God the Almighty for holding and protecting me and my entire family.
“My appreciation goes out to many Nigerians in the county and diaspora for their concern and prayerful outpouring.
“However, special mention must be made of the SGF, Mr Boss Mustapha & Chairman PTF, who not only sympathized with me & my family but also personally made both video & voice calls on several occasions to ascertain our well-being.”
