Police Finds Out Decomposed Bodies Of 3 Kidnapped UNIPORT Students

The Anti-Cultism Unit of Rivers police command has arrested individuals of a kidnap gang who abducted, killed and buried three college students of University of Port Harcourt in a shallow grave in Etoo, Rivers state.

The undergraduates have been kidnapped on April 7, 2020. One of the suspects, Friday Akpan, stated they kidnapped the victims (Joy Adoki, Nelson Nwafor and Fortune Obimba ) on the order of one Bright, who instructed them the victims betrayed him after cash was once paid into the account of one of the victims.

The arrested suspect defined that they killed and buried the three undergraduates after rap!ng Joy, the lady amongst them.

The spokesperson for Rivers Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni, noted that an AK 47 rifle, pistol, three magazines, 72 rounds of live ammunition had been recovered from the suspects.

The decomposed bodies of the victims have been exhumed through the police whilst investigation is ongoing.
