Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Supervisor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), explained that the present COVID-19 pandemic lockout is a good opportunity for Christians to do more to move them forward.

Declaring a sermon titled All things work together for good on Sunday during a DOVE TV broadcast, Adeboye said that in the past God used lockdown to raise His children.

He mentioned David, Elijah and Joseph as biblical characters who had an uplifting experience after lockdown.

To make the most of the current lockdown, Adeboye said that Christians should rejoice, praise God and pray, saying, “there has never been a better time to pray because you have more time and less things to do.”

He also asked Christians to research the word, to meditate, to gain hope for the future, and to prepare to make the future a reality.

Furthermore, the respected preacher advised believers to clean their homes and environments due to more time on their hands and lighten their houses.

According to him: “You will know stuff you no longer need when you clean your room. Please hand them out.

He finally asked Christians to pray for himself and other leaders, because in no small measure the COVID-19 crisis would burden many of them.
