Pastor Adeboye Backs Lockdown Extension Of Worship Centre
Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Resurrection Christian Church of God sponsored the expansion of worship centers’ lockdown building.
Adeboye, who is RCCG ‘s General Overseer said the church should obey the government’s laws.
When delivering a televised message he spoke at the church’s July Holy Ghost Service titled: ‘Let there be light 7.’
Dad G.O. As it is popularly known, at the end of the lockdown, the church will come out victorious.
The shutdown will turn out to be a time of greater blessings, he told Christians.
He said: “If people realize this lockdown will lead to greater achievement and prosperity, they will joyfully accept that.
“In this lockout God was closer than ever to us.”
Note the government of Lagos State had announced last week that worship centers in the state would remain closed.
It was part of steps to curb COVID-19 ‘s spread throughout the state.
Meanwhile, in the midst of the pandemic, the federal government ordered partial lockdown facility of worship centers throughout the nation.
