Panic As Tukur Buratai’s Convoy Kills Man In Katsina

Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff convoy, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, killed a motorcycle rider in Katsina State on Monday.

Live News Nigeria gathered that the deceased, who at the time of the accident exchanged wedding invites, died on the spot.

It was collected that the accident occurred within the Katsina metropolis around the junction of Mani House.

A source told Live News Nigeria the convoy left the deceased ‘s corpse on the road and drove off.

Buratai was at the Forward Operating Base, Daura, home town of President Muhammadu Buhari, as part of efforts to fight banditry and ensure lasting peace and security in the state and northwestern region.

During a visit to Governor Aminu Bello Masari at the Government House, the Chief of Army Staff said he would remain in Katsina State for organizing and supervising operations in Rugu Forest and beyond at some time.

He ensured the operations against the bandits will continue to rid the hoodlums area.
