Ondo Deputy Governor Defects To PDP
Ondo State Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi resigned on Sunday from being a member of the All Progressive Congress at Apoi Ward 2, Ese Odo State Local Government District, Live News Nigeria reports.
This came some hours after he was barred from moving out of the Government House in Alagbaka, Akure, the state capital, by the state Police Commissioner, Bolaji Salami and his staff.
Tendering his resignation letter at the APC secretariat in Apoi Ward 2, Ese Odo LGA, Ajayi said everyone understood why he left the APC.
Immediately thereafter, he went to the PDP secretariat in the district, where he declared his party defection and received his party card.
