The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Rivers State Command has expressed a renewed desire to work with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the battle against corruption.
This position was disclosed on Thursday, August 19, 2021, by the Commandant, Rivers State Command of the NSCDC, Commandant Aliyu Bature while paying a Courtesy Visit to the Port Harcourt Zonal Commander of the EFCC, Assistant Commander of the EFCC( ACE) Aliyu Naibi in his office.
Bature said that his Corps had a long-standing relationship with the EFCC and fresh synergy with it would enhance the works of the two agencies. ” I have come to seek your support, assistance and synergy in order to discharge my work effectively. EFCC is our partner. We are together”, he said.
In his response, Naibi said that EFCC and NSCDC had several areas of interest and fresh synergy will boost the relationship between the two agencies. ” The message has just been sent. We are one. We have several areas of interest. Fresh synergy will boost joint operations and intelligence sharing. Let’s keep working together and the relationship between us will get better”, he said.
