Nigerian Paralympic Champion, Esther Oyema Receives 4 Years Ban

Para powerlifter and Paralympic gold medalist, Oyema, has been banned for 4 years after she dedicated an anti-doping rule violation, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has announced.

A prohibited substance named 19-norandrosterone, used to be located in a urine sample she supplied on January 28, 2019 after the Lagos 2019 International Para Powerlifting Competition in Nigeria.
