Leader Of “One Million Boys” Gang, Biola Ebila Shot Dead

Police have killed the head of the “one million boys” gang and most wanted Ibadan criminals, Biola Ebila.

The Oyo State Policing Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Olugbenga Fadeyi, announced Ebila’s death in Ibadan on Sunday.

Nevertheless, Fadeyi said he did not have the specifics and manner in which the deceased was murdered.

He said: “The Divisional Police Officer ‘s information reaching me, Idi-Arere, revealed that his corpse and that of his colleagues who confronted the policemen strategically deployed to that axis were brought to Kudeti region with a tricycle.

“Two of their leaders were also arrested in that situation, so they rounded up and took the corpse to the station.

“He’s been on police’s wanted list and he’s been pursued by investigators.

“I don’t have it now, what really happened and specifics of how he was killed, but he was reported dead.”‘

Ebila, who had been on Oyo State Police Command ‘s desired list, was reportedly killed in Ibadan area around Olomi.

The deceased was declared wanted by the State Police Command on May 12 for alleged involvement in the murder of Ekugbemi, another Ibadan gang leader.
