Lagos hospitals treating coronavirus cases will remain closed – Federal Government
Federal Government has stated personal hospitals that have been treating sufferers contaminated with coronavirus will stay shut until further notice.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the authorities agency on the the front line in the combat towards coronavirus, verified this on Tuesday.
The Lagos state authorities additionally re-echoed this choice announcing the hospitals will no longer function for the time being.
In a report by LIVE NEWS NIGERIA on Tuesday afternoon, NCDC counseled these that have been to such amenities to go into isolation.
These hospitals include: St Nicholas, Lagos Island branch; First Cardiology Consultants Hospital, Ikoyi (where Abba Kyari died); St Edwards Hospital, Ajah; Vedic Lifecare Hospital, Lekki; County Hospital, Ogba and Premier Specialist Hospital, Victoria Island.
NCDC added that;
All staff and/or family members who may have visited the hospital or staff who may have been in contact with anyone who visited any of the above-listed hospitals between April 10th, 2020 and April 19th 2020, are required to immediately call NCDC HOTLINE 080097000010.
