Keyamo mocks PDP saying they have lost control.

Keyamo questions how Nigerians could be united by a party that is having trouble bringing its members together.

The Minister of State for Labour and Employment stated in a tweet on September 21, 2022, that the PDP had lost control but continued to assure Nigerians that it would save the nation.

The minister questioned how Nigerians could be united by a party that is having trouble keeping its members together.

Keyamo tweeted: “PDP that’s in crises because of its inability to control its billowing umbrella gathers every day & the first thing you hear them say is that they want to ‘rescue’ Nigeria; like a teenager whose legs cannot find the clutch of a car wanting to drive a trailer! ‘No be juju be that?

Hours after Nyesom Wike’s Rivers State campaign left the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Keyamo tweeted the message.

The Wike camp had insisted that Iyorchia Ayu, the party’s national chairman, must step down in order for them to take part in the party’s electoral efforts and for peace to return to the party.

In response to the demand for Ayu’s resignation, the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, stated that no one can compel the National Chairman of the party to leave.

“On the calls for the resignation or removal from office of our national chairman, however, I must reiterate what I have said severally in public and in private; the decision for Dr. Iyorchia Ayu to resign from office is personal to Dr. Ayu and, neither I nor anyone else can make that decision for him,” Atiku said in a statement on Wednesday,” he said in a statement.

If Ayu were to be removed from office, Atiku contended, it should be done in accordance with the laws that specify the grounds for such removal.
