JUST IN: Buhari Loses Another Nephew

Ibrahim Dauda, nephew of President Muhammadu Buhari, is dead.

In a statement on Saturday, presidential spokesman Garba Shehu said he died after a prolonged illness in Daura, Katsina state.

In a message of condolence, Buhari said death has stolen one of his finest gentlemen from family and Daura community.

“I am profoundly saddened and devastated by the passing of yet another of my family, a man who has shown incredible kindness and integrity in all his dealings,” said the President.

He prayed to to forgive the deceased’s soul, and to reward paradise for his great and noble deeds.

In February 2018, Buhari lost his personal assistant, Halima Dauda, his niece and mother, Mohammed Sabi’u Tunde.

She was the President’s younger sister Mamman Daura, a nephew.
