Nigeria reported 238 new cases of COVID-19 as deaths increased to 68, said Friday in a tweet the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
The new cases bringing the total number of infections in the country to 2,170.

Kano reported the highest number of cases in the country for the second consecutive day, with 92 infections. The FCT recorded 36 incidents, and 30 reported from Lagos.
The number of infections has increased because of the expanded testing ability across the world, the NCDC has said.
