Jumoke Odetola releases substance abuse themed movie ‘Trap’.
Nigeria celebrity actress , Jumoke Odetola, who started her Nollywood career in the English language cinema, unveiled a substance abuse-themed movie titled ‘Trap’.
To commemorate this year’s International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Jeyten Productions will debut ‘Trap,’ a new feature film.
The production is a cooperation between the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and telecommunications giant MTN and features Korede Bello, GT Da Guitarman, Lepacious Bose, and Jumoke Odetola, who also doubles as Producer.
Odetola’s Jeyten Productions recently announced the project at a press conference ahead of its international premiere on June 25.
Speaking at the junket, the Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) (Rtd.) Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa exhorted everyone, particularly youths, to avoid drug consumption and other associated vices and work towards making society better and safer.

Jumoke Odetola, who also spoke at the occasion, stated that she knows the function of celebrities in society.
“People may not understand or even listen to others when they talk. But when they watch us do what we do. The people naturally want to copy. This is the inspiration behind this. We want to impact lives in the most effective way we can.”
