Ikorodu Bois Go International As American Movie Directors Invite For The Premiere Of “EXTRACTION 2”

Nigerian social media sensation, Ikorodu Bois will be special guests at the premiere of ‘EXTRACTION 2’ after their remake of the ‘EXTRACTION’ trailer has been recognized by film critics.

The Ikorodu Bois received popularity from popular music videos and Hollywood films for remaking scenes. Scenes from shows such as Bad Boys for Life, Money Heist and other entertainment pieces are recreated scene by scene using only the household items.

The Ikorodu Bois’ latest video is a re-enactment of the original Netflix film ‘EXTRACTION’ which stars Chris Hemsworth. The video that went viral on Twitter with over 1.5 million views caught the attention of the film’s author, The Russo Brothers.

Reacting to the video, they wrote:

Writer, Joe Russo announced he had concluded the deal to write Extraction 2 in May 2020. It’s uncertain if the script will represent Extraction as a sequel or prequel, or when shooting will start.

The Ikorodu Bois’ artistic efforts have earlier been recognized by Money Heist’s ‘The Professor’ and earned them over half a million Instagram followers and fans like LeBron James.

The Ikorodu Bois — brothers Muiz Sanni, 15, Malik Sanni, 10, and their 13-year-old cousin Fawas Aina — have become sensations of Instagram by recreating multimillion-dollar music videos and shot-by-shot Hollywood movie trailers using everyday household items.

Muiz and Malik’s big brother, 23-year-old Babatunde Sanni, edits the videos and manages the trio. He is responsible for turning something that started as a bit of fun into what the boys hope will be careers in the entertainment industry. Back in 2017, he decided the boys’ handiwork deserved to be shared with the world.
