Femi Adebayo, an actor, has signed an endorsement deal with StarTimes to serve as an ambassador.

According to reliable sources, Adebayo was named brand ambassador by the digital-TV platform, StarTimes, following several discussions that began in 2021.

The actor and director was revealed by StarTimes on Monday, January 10, 2022.

Chief Executive Officer, StarTimes, Alex Jian said Adebayo is an actor who exhibits all that StarTimes, an affordable digital-TV platform, stands for.

“StarTimes made digital-TV entertainment available to all homes and has continued to offer unmatched service delivery to every household, irrespective of income level. Adebayo is greatly loved by Nollywood fans.

“We are delighted to have Adebayo as our brand ambassador. Over the years, Femi has continued to add value to our TV screens. We are delighted with this partnership.

The endorsement deal reinforces the business relationship between StarTimes and Adebayo in strengthening the investment in local content.

Adebayo, who enjoys cult followership in the movie industry, engaged StarTimes to produce a Nollywood production entitled Ile-Alayo.

The pay-tv also launched another comedy series, ‘Okirika,’ which is produced by Muka Ray.
