Family of four die in a collapsed building in Kano
The Kano State Fire Service has disclosed that 4 individuals of a household died in a collapsed building in the Saberi vicinity in Gwale Local Government Area of the state.
The Spokesman of the Service, Saidu Mohammed, made this recognized in a announcement on Tuesday in Kano, mentioning that three different victims have been rescued alive from the debris.
Mohammed stated the incident passed off on Monday when the occupants of the residence had been nonetheless sleeping.
He stated “Seven individuals had been trapped in the collapsed building, 4 of them died later at Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, Kano whilst the final three victims had been receiving therapy at the hospital.
“Among these rescued used to be a one-year-old boy.
“We acquired a misery call from one, Sadi Gora, who lives in the neighbourhood, at about 11:45 p.m. that a constructing collapsed in the area.
“On receiving the information, we rapidly deployed our rescue group to the scene at about 11:55 p.m.,’’ he said.
