EPL: Raul Jimenez Told To Leave Wolves For Manchester Utd

Gerard “Tata” Martino, Mexico’s head coach, has asked Raul Jimenez to join Manchester United in the future.

The Wolves striker has netted 15 goals this season in the Premier League with his club five points from a spot in the Champions League.

Juventus has been proposed as a potential destination for Jimenez but Martino believes that Old Trafford’s striker would suit better.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer isn’t having a No.9 specialist in his squad, he says.

“There are many forwards including [Marcus] Rashford, [Anthony] Martial and the boy who now plays as a right-winger,[Mason] Greenwood but I can’t see a mere number nine including Raul because Romelu Lukaku left.

“At Juventus, he will have more of a fight because [Cristiano] Ronaldo shares the inside of the pitch with whoever plays alongside him, with [Paulo] Dybala or with [Gonzalo] Higuain and maybe he has a tougher fight there,” Martino said on ESPN show Futbol Picante.
