EPL: Chelsea Suffer Triple Injury Blow Ahead Of Crystal Palace Crash
On Monday, Chelsea reported its defender, Fikayo Tomori, and midfielders, Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante, three injury issues ahead of their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace in Selhurst Park on Tuesday evening.
The Blues said Tomori and Kovacic have muscle and Achilles injuries, respectively, in a post via their official website. Kante also suffered a tight hamstring injury over the weekend against Watford.
“There are doubts about the fitness of Fikayo Tomori and Mateo Kovacic, who both missed our weekend win over Watford with muscle and Achilles injuries respectively, as well as Kante, who came off late in that game feeling a tight hamstring,” Chelsea said.
Chelsea beat Watford in their previous Premier League fixture 3-0 on Saturday.
Currently, Frank Lampard ‘s side is in fourth place on the Premier League table with 57 points from 33 matches.
Crystal Palace vs Chelsea game kick-off time is at 6 pm.
