Cubana Chief Priest under criticism for questioning Mercy Chinwo about her engagement.

Pascal Chibuike, a socialite and celebrity bartender better known as Cubana Chief Priest, has landed himself in hot water after making a joke about gospel singer Mercy Chinwo’s engagement.

Mercy Chinwo, a gospel artist, confirmed her engagement on June 23rd, according to livesnews.ng.

Mercy Chinwo is getting married to the love of her life, Pastor Blessed of Waterbrook Church, where artist Banky W also pastors.

Their wedding will take place in August 2022 in Port Harcourt.

Sharing photos on her Instagram page, the beautiful 31-year-old singer, Mercy Chinwo wrote “I am blessed to be blessed with the blessed official. The thoughts of doing the next phase and the rest phase of my life with you makes the blessing more real… I love you Sweet”

Also announcing the good news, the groom-to-be, Pastor Blessed wrote “I’M THE MAN THE LORD SHOWED MERCY! Mercy Chinwo, thanks for saying YES!

Among the many celebs that responded on the singer’s Instagram post was Cubana Chief Priest.

The socialite made an ugly remark that enraged many.

Cubana Chief Priest inquired as to if the gospel singer also liked “that thing” (which many assumed to be sex).

He wrote, “Congrats so you dey like that thing”.

Many people were offended by his remarks and retaliated against him.
