COVID-19: Toll hits 541 in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday reported via its twitter handle that 48 new cases have been recorded.

A total of 48 new cases were confirmed and below is the tweet confirming the figure from the handle.

A breakdown shows that 23 in Lagos, 12 in FCT, 10 in Kano, 2 in Ogun,1 in Oyo.

In total, there are 541 confirmed cases. 166 patients have been discharged, while 19 are dead.

Lagos State remains the epicenter of the Coronavirus in Nigeria as toll rises to 306 cases while the FCT remains the second-highest state with 81 positive COVID-19 cases.
