COVID-19: Toll hits 541 in Nigeria
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday reported via its twitter handle that 48 new cases have been recorded.

COVID-19: Toll hits 542 in Nigeria
A total of 48 new cases were confirmed and below is the tweet confirming the figure from the handle.
Yesterday, we erroneously reported one new case in Ekiti. This was wrong and was caused by an error in the verification process.
Therefore, as at April 18 2020, there are 541 confirmed cases, 166 discharged and 19 deaths.

A breakdown shows that 23 in Lagos, 12 in FCT, 10 in Kano, 2 in Ogun,1 in Oyo.
In total, there are 541 confirmed cases. 166 patients have been discharged, while 19 are dead.
