COVID-19: How to keep yourself safe during your Travels.
Coronavirus diseases (COVID-19) is becoming unbearable as it keeps spreading all over the world.
Avoid Crowded Place When You Travel.
Many travelers are panicking at these trying times but is it safe to travel or tour the world now? If you ask me I will say No because several countries are taking measures to protect their citizens from the virus, some even banned entries.
Meanwhile, if you must travel, like there’s an urgent need for you to travel, Livenews Nigeria has gathered some precautions you need to be put in place as recommended by WHO (World Health Organization).
- Firstly, You need to make a research about the location and be sure the case is not severe over there,
- To avoid the risk of contracting the coronavirus disease you must wash your hands frequently,
- Go along with you a sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol-based content) to rescue you in case you don’t have access to soap and water,
- Make sure you don’t touch your face with an unwashed hand if you have been to a public place.
- Wear a mask,
- Avoid a closed crowded place,
- Maintain Social Distancing, at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from anyone with coughing, sneezing, or similar symptoms,
- Make sure you lodge in a clean hotel if there’s a need to lodge,
- Lastly, when you get to your location, stay at home and quarantine yourself for 14-days to be on a safe side.
Be nice to share with a friend of yours that’s planning to embark on a trip at these trying times.
