The federal government has advised parents to be vigilant about ongoing school closures.

The State Minister for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, confirmed this on Tuesday during the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) 2020 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.

The government was doing everything within its control, according to Nwajiuba, to protect both lives and livelihoods.
