COVID-19: British PM, Boris Johnson Discharged From Hospital.

A week after the admission of the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson into the hospital due to persistent COVID-19 symptoms, he has been finally discharged.

The spokesperson in a statement said Johnson, who spent three nights in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, will still convalesce at Chequers, the prime minister’s country house.

He said that on the advice of his medical team, the Prime Minister won’t immediately be returning to work.

Meanwhile, On the March 27th, Johnson announced he tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As of now, nearly 79,000 people have tested positive, the virus has claimed 9,875 lives so far.

The Prime Minister’s fiancée, Carrie Symonds has taken to twitter to express her gratitude. In her words, she said;

I cannot thank our magnificent NHS enough. The staff at St Thomas’ Hospital have been incredible. I will never, ever be able to repay you and I will never stop thanking you.
