Caleb University conducts 12th convocation
Caleb University will hold its 12th convocation ceremony from Thursday (today) to Saturday, January 21, 2023.
In a statement made available to The PUNCH, signed by the university’s Information, Media and Publication Specialist, Olawale Adekoya, this year’s convocation is scheduled to hold during the founder’s week and is themed, ‘Digital Disruptions, Financial Inclusion, StartUps and the Challenge of Youth Creativity’.
The convocation is scheduled to hold at the university’s main campus in Imota, Lagos State and will be graced by the Managing Director and CEO, AIICO Insurance Plc, Mr. Babatunde Fajemirokun, who is the convocation lecturer.

According to the statement, the College of Pure and Applied Sciences and the College of Education will hold their convocation on the opening day, Thursday, January 19, while the College of Arts, Social and Management Sciences will hold theirs on the second day, Friday, January, 20 and the College of Environmental Studies, as well as the College of Post Graduate Studies, will hold their on Saturday, January 21 centre stage, which will also feature the Convocation/Founder’s Day Lecture and award of honorary degrees.
Caleb University was founded in 2008 and is the first private undergraduate degree-awarding university in Lagos State.
