Buhari Approves New Appointment
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Prof. Adesoji Adesugba as the new Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) managing director.
NEPZA is a parastatal under the Federal Trade and Investment Ministry.
The appointment of Adesugba was confirmed in a letter signed by Ibrahim Gambari, Buhari’s Chief of Staff, and addressed to Julius Toba-Jegede, the Minister.
A statement by the Media Assistant to Toba-Jegede, Otunba Richard Adeniyi Adebayo, congratulated Buhari over the appointment of Adesugba.
The minister also said he was confident that the experience of Adesugba will add value to NEPZA and the academic exposure will urge the new appointee to operate with an open-door policy.
Adesugba is an accomplished Investment Promotion and Economic Development specialist, known for his skills in organizational development and institutional reform.
He has matched the best business acumen in the private sector with the professional ability to handle practice in the public sector.
