BREAKING: Lagos records 3 new COVID-19 deaths
The Lagos State Government has announced on Saturday three new deaths from COVID-19.
Commissioner for Health in the state, Akin Abayomi, made this acknowledged of his validated Twitter page.
He stated the deceased had been two men and a woman aged 52, 63 and 67 respectively.
He said, “32 new #COVID19 instances had been verified in Lagos on April 17, 2020. Total quantity of verified cases in Lagos now stands at 286.
“Sadly, Lagos has recorded three more deaths bringing whole range of #COVID19 associated deaths in Lagos to 13.
“The deceased are two adult males and one woman aged 52, 63 and 67. Two of the lifeless had underlying health issues.
“The two men had no journey records or file of contact with any contaminated person.
“The woman was however, suspected to have had contact with an contaminated individual who these days returned to Nigeria.”
