BREAKING: Adamawa records first case of COVID-19

A returnee from Kano, who formerly submitted himself for test, disclosed his repute at some point of a chat with SaharaReporters.

The man, who has been on self-isolation since returning to the state from Kano last week, informed SaharaReporters that he was once knowledgeable of his contamination of the virus on Wednesday morning by the COVID-19 Containment Committee in Adamawa.

He said, “I received a call from the COVID-19 Containment Committee this morning, informing me that my end result confirmed I’m positive for the virus.”

The state authorities is yet to formally announce the case.

When contacted, Chairman of the committee, who is additionally Secretary to the State Government, Bashiru Ahmad, certainly said, “I will call you back.”
