BREAKING: Abba Kyari Laid To Rest In Abuja
The Late Chief of Staff, Mr. Abba Kyari to President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has been laid to rest at his house at the Defence House in Abuja Following the funeral prayer.
Kyari died in the late hours of Friday after fighting with illnesses aggravated by way of COVID-19 disease.
The funeral prayer was personal in line with the protocol put in vicinity for the burial of Coronavirus victims through the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Federal Ministry of Health.
Senior Special Assistant to President on Media and Publicity Mr Garba Shehu stated there would be no condolence visits to household of the late Chief of Staff.
Shehu, who disclosed this in a assertion in Abuja, stated this was in preserving with the protocol set up with the aid of the NCDC.
“There will be no such ceremonies as condolence visits. Well meaning friends, household members and the typical public are inspired to pray for the repose of Abba Kyari’s soul. May Allah provide the household and state the fortitude to endure the loss,” he said.
