Bobrisky Arrested In Lagos
Inspector General Police (IG) Monitoring Unit operatives arrested Idris Okuneye, alias Bobrisky, the notorious cross-dresser, on Thursday.
A team of Abuja policemen arrested Okuneye around Lekki over alleged money issues with a woman.
Live News Nigeria says this arrest is coming months after police arrested the cross-dresser because of his dispute with a public official in Abuja.
While details of the case were sketchy, it was found that the policemen who entered the white Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) from Okuneye had made their mission clear before heading to the Lagos State Police Command.
Bobrisky recently had an altarcation over sales and funding of an artificial eyelash brand with a Nigerian woman in the diaspora.
Policemen first took Okuneye to a police station on the island where he was allegedly held for a while and later given bail.
Force spokesman DCP Frank Mba said, “Actually, Bobrisky was arrested in the early hours of today following a Nigerian woman’s complaint that the cross-dresser obtained N30 m from her for sales but didn’t hold the deal to a close.”
