Nigerian music producer, Samklef, has lambasted Davido for his comments about Israel DMW’s estranged wife, Sheila Courage.
In a viral video on social media, Davido was heard saying that Sheila “is regretting now” while boarding his newly acquired private jet with Israel.
Samklef took to his official X handle to express his disappointment with Davido’s remarks, stating that the musician lacks empathy and morals. “Dear Davido, you have shown a lack of morals by calling Israel’s ex-wife a ‘bitch.’ How would you feel if someone called your wife, Chioma, the same?” Samklef questioned.
He noted that Wizkid and Burna Boy would never stoop to such levels, calling someone’s ex-wife a derogatory term. “Wasn’t Israel already flying in private jets before your marriage? Why do you lower yourself like this? You seem to lack empathy and morals, but of course, your hypocritical fans won’t see a problem in your childish remark,” Samklef added.
Samklef emphasized that true happiness does not come from material possessions like private jets, but rather from personal growth and self-awareness. “Happiness does not come from flying in a private jet. You need mentorship and counseling. Somebody needs to tell Davido the truth. He needs to grow up. Private jet material thing. Zero mentorship,” Samklef concluded.
