A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the remand of some #EndBadGovernance protesters at the Kuje Correctional Centre.
This follows their arraignment on a six-count charge of terrorism brought against them by the Federal Government.
The accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charges before Justice Emeka Nwite, who fixed September 11, 2024, for the hearing and ruling on their bail application.
Justice Nwite ordered their remand pending the hearing and ruling on their bail application, slated for September 11, 2024.
The Federal Government had slammed a six-count charge bordering on terrorism against the protesters, leading to their arraignment before the Federal High Court.
The court will hear and rule on the protesters’ bail application on September 11, 2024, determining their fate until then.
