Chelsea FC is reportedly nearing an agreement to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.
The deal has progressed after further talks, with both permanent and loan options being considered. Sancho previously played for Borussia Dortmund on loan after a disagreement with Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag.
Juventus, who were initially leading the race to sign Sancho, have pulled out of the deal. This has paved the way for Chelsea to sign the England international. Sancho did not feature in Manchester United’s two Premier League games against Fulham and Brighton.
Sancho has had a successful career, playing for Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United. He has also played for the England national team, earning 23 caps. Sancho’s agent has been reaching out to various clubs, including Chelsea, to gauge interest in his client.
Chelsea is interested in signing Sancho, but only if the deal is right for the club. The club’s new transfer strategy revolves around signing the best young talent, and Sancho fits into this category. However, Chelsea has also been linked to other players, including Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel.
