The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the appointment of German tactician, Bruno Labbadia, as the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles.
This was made known by the Secretary General of the NFF, Mohammed Sanusi, on Tuesday morning.

He has managed top German clubs like Hertha Berlin, VfB Stuttgart, VfL Wolfsburg, Hamburger SV, and Bayer Leverkusen, among others. The 57-year-old holds a UEFA Pro License and has won two caps for the German national team.
Labbadia’s first task is to lead the Super Eagles in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Benin Republic on September 7 in Uyo and Rwanda on September 10 in Kigali. He will also be in charge for the remaining four qualifying matches in October and November.
