The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a directive to married female corps members who have been posted away from their husbands’ states to request redeployment.
This announcement was made via the NYSC’s official X handle on Monday.
According to the NYSC, married female corps members can initiate the redeployment process by submitting the necessary documents, including marital documents, at the nearest NYSC Orientation Camp during registration. Once the redeployment is processed, it will be reflected on their dashboard for reprinting.
In a related development, the NYSC announced the release of the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 call-up letters for prospective corps members on Monday. This marks a significant milestone for the upcoming batch of corps members.
The NYSC emphasized that all married female corps members who wish to redeploy must follow the established procedures and provide the required documents to facilitate a smooth redeployment process.
The NYSC has not specified a deadline for the redeployment request, but corps members are advised to initiate the process as soon as possible to avoid any delays or complications.
