President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on Wednesday, at the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
This was confirmed by Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement released on Tuesday.
During his visit, President Tinubu will hold talks with his counterpart at the Presidential Villa in Malabo, focusing on crucial bilateral issues such as oil and gas, security, and cooperation. The discussions aim to strengthen ties between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
Several agreements are expected to be signed during the visit, solidifying cooperation in key areas. The President will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other cabinet members who will participate in the signing of agreements and explore opportunities to enhance bilateral relations.
The delegation’s primary objective is to review and improve bilateral relations between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea. The visit underscores President Tinubu’s commitment to fostering stronger ties with African nations and promoting regional cooperation.
