In a surprise move, Funso Doherty, a former governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos State, has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Doherty announced his decision on his official X page on Monday night, stating that he had resigned from the ADC after extensive consultations.
