Tragedy struck at the bustling Buni Yadi market in Yobe State’s Gujba Local Government Area, as a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded, leaving a trail of destruction and chaos.
The blast, which occurred at approximately 12:30 pm, sent shockwaves through the market, with eyewitnesses describing the scene as “horrific.” According to Ali Hassan, a resident of Buni Yadi, a young girl was injured in the explosion.
