United States Vice President, Kamala Harris, has officially declared her intention to run for the presidency, following an endorsement from President Joe Biden.
In a statement, Harris expressed her gratitude for the President’s endorsement and reiterated her commitment to winning the nomination. She also highlighted her dedication to uniting the Democratic Party and the nation to defeat Donald Trump’s “extreme Project 2025 agenda.”
“I am honored to have the President’s endorsement, and my intention is to earn and win this nomination,” Harris said. “Over the past year, I have traveled across the country, talking with Americans about the clear choice in this momentous election. And that is what I will continue to do in the days and weeks ahead.”
With 107 days until Election Day, Harris vowed to unite the Democratic Party and the nation to emerge victorious. “We have 107 days until Election Day. Together, we will fight. And together, we will win.”
