The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum has pledged to reclaim all leadership positions currently held by other political parties.
Chairman of the forum, Bala Mohammed, made this vow at the opening of their meeting in Enugu, stressing the need for unity and a credible alternative to Nigerians.
The meeting, which brings together PDP governors, national working committee members, and other party stakeholders, aims to discuss governance, inter-party affairs, congress, and other crucial matters. Mohammed expressed concern over the country’s drift towards anarchy, emphasizing the need for the party to reclaim its leadership position in all states currently controlled by other parties.
Present at the meeting were governors Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Umo Eno (Akwa-Ibom), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Ahmed Fintiri (Adamawa), Douye Diri (Bayelsa), and host governor Peter Mbah (Enugu).
