President Bola Tinubu is set to swear in seven new ministers on Monday at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja.
This announcement was made by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, via X.
The newly appointed ministers include:
– _Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda_: Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
– _Muhammadu Dingyadi_: Minister of Labour and Employment
– _Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu_: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
– _Dr. Jumoke Oduwole_: Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment (Trade and Investment)
– _Idi Maiha_: Minister of Livestock Development
– _Yusuf Ata_: Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development
– _Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad_: Minister of State for Education
According to Onanuga, “President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday… The Senate cleared the ministers last week.” This development follows Tinubu’s cabinet reshuffle on October 23, where 10 ministers were reassigned, five others discharged, and seven new ministers nominated. The Senate confirmed all seven nominees after screening each on October 31, 2024.
