For the fifth edition of Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, no less than 30.000 Nigerian youths joined.

On Saturday, the promoters, MultiChoice Nigeria, made the announcement.

However, they were quiet on the number of housemates moving into the BBNaija house in 2020.

The ones made the final cut are now in isolation to ensure they are not susceptible to coronavirus infection.

In 2019 the Season 4 edition featured a total of 26 attendees.

They were Mercy, Mike, Frodd, Omashola, Seyi, Diane, Ike, Elozonam, Cindy, Tacha, Khafi, Venita, Sir Dee, Esther, Gedoni, Jackye, Joe, Enkay, Jeff, Nelson, Thelma, Tuoyo, Kim Oprah, Ella, Avala and Isilomo.

Chief Customer Officer Martin Mabutho has announced that this year’s BBNaija prize money will be “the best ever in the show’s history.”

The winner, Mercy Eke, went home last year with prize money of N30 million.

Martin added that while exporting Nigerian culture to the world, BBNaija will continue to provide “quality entertainment and value for the public.”
