Nigerian music sensation, Peter Okoye (Mr. P), has responded to accusations of song theft leveled against him by his twin brother and former P-Square bandmate, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy).
Rudeboy alleged that Mr. P and their former producer, Vampire, stole his song “Winning,” intended for release with his upcoming album.
Mr. P took to Instagram to debunk the allegations, stating, “Person no dey thief him own Property! It is well!” He clarified that “Winning” was co-written and composed by himself and Calypso60, produced by Vampire and co-produced by Goldswarm.
“For the record, ‘Winning’ was written and composed by @calypso60music and myself… They all deserve their Credit. And I appreciate them,” Mr. P wrote.
Mr. P begged his brother to allow him to focus on his music, saying, “Just As I said in my open letter three months ago, ‘Allow me to do my music in peace.’ Now that I have a new single out, please allow me to enjoy my new single, WINNING, in peace. Enough of the negativity!”
The feud between the twin brothers has been ongoing since their split from P-Square. Fans are eagerly awaiting Rudeboy’s response to Mr. P’s clarification.
