Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Joeboy, has made a bold prediction, tipping Manchester United to win the 2024/2025 Premier League title.
In an appearance on the Premier League Show on Friday, Joeboy expressed unwavering confidence in United’s chances. “Manchester United is going to win the Premier League. We are going to win, just watch!” he declared.
The singer, a self-proclaimed die-hard Red Devils fan, also shared his thoughts on the recent departure of head coach Erik ten Hag. “I’m happy that Ten Hag is out. He had enough chances to prove himself and he just couldn’t,” Joeboy said.
Joeboy cited United’s lack of impressive results under Ten Hag, which he felt made the team vulnerable to other clubs. “We were not getting any result. It got to a point where other teams were not scared of facing Manchester United. That really hurt my feelings,” he remarked.
With United’s new manager, Ruben Amorim, set to take the reins, Joeboy’s prediction may not be entirely far-fetched. Only time will tell if the Red Devils can live up to his expectations.
