The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has released its weather outlook for Sunday to Tuesday, predicting haziness and sunshine across the country.
In the northern region, moderate dust haze is expected with horizontal visibility ranging from 2km to 5km. Localised visibility of less than or equal to 1,000m is anticipated. The North Central region will experience sunny skies with patches of clouds in the morning, followed by thunderstorms with moderate rains in the afternoon/evening over parts of FCT, Kogi, Benue, and Nasarawa States.
In the southern region, thunderstorms with moderate rains are expected over parts of Ondo, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River States during the morning hours, with thunderstorms spreading to most places later in the day.
Moderate dust haze will persist in the northern region, while the North Central region will experience sunny skies with patches of clouds in the morning, followed by thunderstorms over parts of FCT, Kwara, Benue, and Kogi States.
Morning thunderstorms with moderate rains are expected over parts of Imo, Ebonyi, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Lagos States, with thunderstorms spreading to most places later in the day.

Strong winds may precede rains in areas where thunderstorms are likely to occur, and the public should take necessary precautions.
Airlines are advised to obtain airport-specific weather reports from NiMet for effective planning. The public is urged to adhere to safety advisories issued by relevant authorities.
