American rapper Cardi B has been hospitalized for a medical emergency, forcing her to cancel her scheduled performance at the One Music Fest.
In a message shared on her social media pages, Cardi B expressed sadness and disappointment. “I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at One Music Fest.”
“It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang-thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love y’all,” she assured her fans.
This development comes after Cardi B announced her decision to quit alcohol following a drunken experience at her 32nd birthday party in New York.
Cardi B, who welcomed her third child with ex-husband Offset last month, did not disclose the nature of her medical emergency. Fans and well-wishers are sending messages of support and recovery wishes to the rapper.
The One Music Fest organizers have yet to announce a replacement or rescheduling of Cardi B’s performance. The festival will proceed without the popular rapper.
Cardi B’s health and well-being remain the priority, and fans eagerly await her return to the music scene.
